Well, nevertheless, I would like you all to have very nice holidays, in your house with your family and friends - the loved ones ;). After three and a half years in Omnicron, the firm that I co-founded with 2 of my friends, as of this September I started to work in my new firm Extendis.

We created some great work at Omnicron and it will be difficult to start over again, but it seems that it is in my spirit to always look forward and search for something new. We all put a lot of effort so that Omnicron stands where it stands today – as one of the best web development companies in Istra.

Istrian dictionary

Once in a while, we all have an opportunity to work on something unique and very encouraging. My opportunity was the project we started working on last September. Its called Istrian dictionary, and it is an online collaboration project with the aim to take from the past our dialect words, to remember our elders and the way they had spoken. The Istrian dictionary project is a big step in saving our national and regional spoken heritage.

You are wondering about the title of this article. What is the biggest car-carrier in the world? Why is mentioned on this blog? And so on. Well, I was born in Pula, which is well known because of the beautiful amphitheatre (Arena) from 80 A.D., but also well known for its shipyard Uljanik since 1856. Uljanik was the most important shipyard in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and today is the technologically most advanced shipyard in Croatia. I grew up watching the shipyard day by day, and since my 3rd year, it triggered my imagination.
